Caroline MARCHI-DELAPIERRE

Professor-researcher in chemistry

When I was little, I wanted to be a fighter pilot, a profession unfortunately reserved for men at the time. However, it was not long before other women opened the way.

Today, I am an assistant-professor. I combine teaching at UGA with laboratory research. I like this dual role, which means I get to meet many different people.

Through my work, I want to contribute to the training of students in class and in the laboratory. I want to give them a solid foundation on which to build a future that lives up to their dreams.
