When I was little, the sight of doctors’ white coats fascinated me and sparked my desire to become a medical doctor.

Today, as a doctoral student in polymer chemistry, I am researching the development of a smart class of bio-based and biocompatible materials, particularly for selfhealing applications.

Through my work, I would combine my expertise with other fields such as biomedical engineering, biotechnology, and nanotechnology to tackle complex problems and innovate at the intersections of these disciplines, while mentoring the next generation of scientists via teaching.
