Perentality vs. Research

Balancing family responsibilities and professional life is a challenge at any age, but even more so for young research parents. What impact does parenthood have on the careers of young researchers? What could have improved their careers? We invite you to join us for a lunchtime roundtable to discuss these issues and diagnose the obstacles encountered by researchers in their professional assessment in relation to their experience of parenthood.

We are organizing two round tables:

• December 13, a round table dedicated to women
• December 16, a round table dedicated to men

Both roundtables are open to all permanent researchers working within the Labex Arcane scientific perimeter. They will take place at Minimistan (Rue des Minimes, Grenoble) during lunch hosted by Arcane. Participation is free of charge, but you can register by clicking on one of the links below:
