Science Fair 2023

Since 2013, ARCANE has participated in the Science Fair organized at the Parvis des Sciences by GIANT campus and its Grenoble partners. Open to the public, this event brings together more than 3600 visitors and elementary and high school students around research themes by promoting exchanges between scientists and citizens.

ARCANE‘s booth «I become the click chemist for a day» focuses on the 2022 Nobel Prize in Chemistry awarded to scientists Carolyn Bertozzi, Morten Meldal and K. Barry Sharpless for their work on click chemistry and bio-orthogonal chemistry. But what are click chemistry and bioorthogonal chemistry? And why have they had such a major impact in recent years? On the Arcane stand, you will discover these two types of chemistry and some of their most innovative applications in the field of medicine. The workshop is open to all !
