Seminar program:

9:30am-10:30am Elisabeth Lojou - BIP Marseille

Electrode-Metalloenzyme From Improbable Pairing to Functional Synergy

How can we achieve stable and efficient electron transfer for electrocatalysis once metalloenzymes are immobilized on conductive surfaces? To explore this question, we will focus on two key reactions: enzymatic H₂ oxidation and O₂ reduction. We will discuss how in situ and operando techniques provide critical insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying enzyme immobilization and functionality. Finally, we will broaden the scope to include emerging electroenzymatic reactions related to copper homeostasis.

10:30am-11am Aurélie Bouchet-Spinelli - SyMMES

Contactless electrofunctionalization for the conception of biosensors

11am-11:30am Andrew Gross - DCM

From redox-active glyconanoparticles to dextran-based hydrogels for bioelectrochemical energy and transdermal biosensing
