Electrode coating based on efficient and stable polymer-metal nanoparticle (oxide) composites for electrocatalysis

DCM

DCM 2

The innovation is based on the nanostructuring of catalysts based on metals or metal oxides in a functionalized polymer film using a versatile electrochemical process. This offers numerous possibilities both in the composition of the catalyst/polymer matrix system and in the diversity of possible catalytic reactions.

This work was awarded by the 2022 iPhD national competition (B. Dautreppe) and valorized by B. Dautreppe, R. Barré and D. Mouchel Dit Leguerrier, supervised by M-N Collomb and J. Fortage to develop materials for electrochlorination (Out of Lab's Challenge award and maturation project from Satt Linksium (Fuelsea project) with financial support from DocTT’Aura grants and from the UGA via Arcane).
