Carbazole-based luminescent lanthanide bioprobes for reactive oxygen species sensing in live cells

My work is to improve and develop responsive probes based on an Eu3+ complex featuring a carbazole antenna imaging agent.

I am Adam NHARI, I graduated last year with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and a master’s degree in chemistry applied to life sciences.
As a hemophiliac, I always wanted to work in connection with biology and I discovered during my studies a great interest for chemistry, and especially for lanthanides and their fascinating luminescence properties.

The Arcane labex allowed me to work at the interface between these two disciplines and to meet many researchers able to give me their advice in their respective disciplines in order to advance my subject and my knowledge.
Finally, I will remain open to the different opportunities that will be offered to me during my PhD to find my way after the thesis.
