Constructing new catalytic films to enhance enzymatic reactions thanks to a biosourced and electron-conducting matrix
I am Lucie Pastewski, PhD student working at LCBM (CEA) and DCM (UGA). During my studies in engineering school, I have been at the crossroads between various scientific fields, biology and chemistry in particular. I developed an interest for the functionalization of surfaces which I pursued for my last internship and thesis project afterwards. I find it very interesting to investigate the connection between the molecular structure and the macroscopic properties of materials.
Working on an-Arcane funded project felt very natural due to my long-lasting connection with chemistry and biology. Both of these sciences are very rich and combined, they allow to create new and original solutions. I wish to keep in touch with research activities after my thesis project.
