Copper-based molecular electrocatalyst for strong C-H bond activation

My thesis subject is about to make new electrocatalyst with copper to replace the actual catalyst made with precious metal.

I started my studies with a technical university diploma in chemistry, then I did an engineering school where I did a gap year in a research lab in Karlsruhe Germany. I then went to Grenoble at the department of molecular chemistry to do my M2 internship in ammonia oxydation electrocatalysis. Unfortunately I couldn’t continue this subject in a PhD but I had the opportunity to work on a similar subject in the same team thanks to the Arcane founding. My subject is inspired by enzymes which are very efficient for catalytic reactions.  It is important to me because it contribute to find alternative the existing chemical industry which are very poluting and will contribute to the energetic transition of the chemical industry and fight global warming. After my PhD I would like to continue in the field of public research and probably become professor researcher.
